Privacy policy

Same Fabric is run by Same Fabric (test), Test address, India (replace before launch). For anything about your data, write to our Grievance Officer, Test Officer (replace before launch), at grievance@example.com (see contact).

Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser type for each request. We use these to keep the site running, to find faults, and to limit how often one visitor can search so the site stays fast for everyone.

Admin accounts. The people who curate the catalog have an account with a name, an email address and a hashed password, and their changes to the catalog are recorded.

That is all. There are no customer accounts, no newsletter, no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first.

The public site sets no cookies. The admin panel sets one session cookie, only for curators who sign in.

When you follow a Buy link you leave our site. The store receives your visit, together with a reference that tells it the visit came from Same Fabric; that is how affiliate commissions work. The store’s own privacy policy applies from there. We do not sell or rent any data. We share server logs only when the law requires it or to protect the site from abuse.

Server logs are kept only as long as we need them to run and protect the site, then deleted. Admin account data is kept while the account is active.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to the Grievance Officer at grievance@example.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and respond within 1 month.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
